Research Description

Dr. Gu is an associate professor of Water Science & Engineering at the College of Environment and Ecology, Chongqing University, China. He has been engaged in the research and practice of activities in engineering for water and wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion since 2014, familiar with oxidation processes such as O3, UV, WAO, H2O2, photocatalysis and et al, familiar with methods in materials (activated carbon, carbon aerogels, bentonites, TiO2). Dr. Gu has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and applied for more than 40 Chinese invention patents. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Gu has been a dedicated educator of future environmental engineers. He is involved in the advisement of both graduate and undergraduate engineering students.
